Adult Learners’ Week is the annual campaign which aims to promote and encourage the opportunities provided to adult learners throughout Wales. The event, now hosted in over 55 countries, will be taking place between 20th – 26th September 2021. In Wales, Adult Learners’ Week or, Wythnos Addysg Oedolion, aims to raise awareness of the high number of different courses available, in hopes of attracting more people to sign on to such beneficial learning programmes.

There are currently an approximate 10,000 adults in Wales who participate in the different activities coordinated through Adult Learners’ Week. This is achieved by working with many private and public organisations on the promotion of short courses, free taster events and local outreach activities that provide people with a little insight on adult learning.

During Adult Learners’ Week, Talk training will be supporting Awareness Sessions and enrolment session throughout the week with Monmouthshire Council, National Autistic Society, Cardiff & Vale UHB, Welsh Women Aid, Interlink and Gwent Police.

In addition to this, anyone looking to sign-up onto a fully funded qualification are welcome to join Talk training and should contact the Sales office on 01443 848300.
