As we begin a new contract year, we are delighted to continue supporting learners and employers across Wales through high-quality apprenticeships and work-based learning.

Celebrating Lifelong Learning

The start of our new contract year also coincides with Adult Learners’ Week Wales, taking place from 21–27 September 2026.

Adult Learners’ Week is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the positive impact learning can have on individuals, employers, and communities. At Talk Training, we believe that learning doesn’t stop when you leave school or university. Developing new skills and gaining qualifications can open doors, build confidence, and support career progression at any stage of your working life.

Apprenticeships and Qualifications

Our programmes allow learners to develop valuable knowledge and skills while applying their learning directly within the workplace.

We collaborate closely with employers to understand their needs and support them in developing their workforce, while providing learners with dedicated guidance and support throughout their qualification.

Learning That Makes a Difference

We are proud of the positive feedback we receive from our learners and the difference our programmes make to their confidence, skills, and career development.

One of our ILM learners, Samuel Lewys Davies, shared how the support from his mentor helped him overcome his initial concerns about returning to study:

“When I signed up for my ILM course through Talk Training, I was quite nervous regarding the apprenticeship, as I hadn’t written assignments since university. However, through communication and support from my mentor, the qualification became very enjoyable because he aligned my qualification to my current work and my current role.”

Samuel also highlighted how the qualification gave him the opportunity to reflect on his achievements and identify ways to improve in his management role.

Similarly, Kirsty Best, who completed her Level 4 Project Management qualification, described her experience as both challenging and rewarding. She explained how the qualification provided “useful, insightful and practical skills” that have benefited her day-to-day role as a commissioner.

Kirsty also praised the support she received throughout her learning journey and said she was already considering further learning with Talk Training.
