Talk training has continued to support Llamau during 2020 through physical donations (150 bags of assorted items) and a cash donation of £250. The thank you letter from Wendy Collie (shown below) identifies the continued importance of all donations to this Wales based charity, who like so many other charities, are being severely affected by the Covid 19 Pandemic.

Jan 2021

Dear Mike and Talk Training Team

On behalf of the young people and vulnerable women in Wales we support, thank you for your donation of £250.00 from Talk Training.

The Covid 19 pandemic continues to have a huge impact on the people we support and our ability to continue supporting them. Our top priority is to continue our essential services – 24 hour staffed young people’s accommodation, domestic abuse refuges and advice and crisis support services for young people and women who are at risk of homelessness or domestic abuse, including our Youth Homeless Helpline.

We have seen a 50% increase in demand for our young people services and 120% increase in demand for women services. We know this is a difficult time for so many, rest assured your donation truly is making a huge difference at this difficult time, thank you.

Our mission is to help those who need us most and to end homelessness across Wales. By working together we can achieve this.

Once again, thank you very much for thinking of Llamau.

Yours Sincerely

Wendy Collie
