Talk Training was delighted to be invited to attend Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council’s Leadership Development Celebration, held at the Gwyn Hall in Neath on Tuesday 14th July 2026.

The event celebrated the council’s commitment to leadership development and recognised employees participating in its Leadership Development Programme. It brought together colleagues from every level of the organisation, from aspiring managers to senior leaders, all of whom are helping to shape the future of the council.

A highlight of the event was the presentation of certificates by Noelwyn Daniel, Director of Strategy and Corporate Services at Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, recognising the achievements and commitment of those who had successfully completed elements of the programme.

Guests also enjoyed an inspiring keynote address from Tori James, the first Welsh woman to climb Mount Everest. Her engaging and motivational presentation was a fitting addition to the celebration and was enjoyed by everyone in attendance.

Representing Talk Training was James Moroney, Business Development Manager. Reflecting on the event, James said:

“It was a pleasure to attend this celebration and meet so many inspiring people from across the local authority. It’s fantastic to see the value placed on leadership development and the important role that ILM qualifications play in supporting individuals throughout their leadership journey and beyond.”

Talk Training is proud to support Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council in developing confident, capable leaders and looks forward to continuing this successful partnership.
