Effective from 1st April 2026

At Talk Training, we’re always looking for ways to improve how we work, both for our team and for the learners and partners we support. That’s why, from today, 1st April, we are officially moving to a four-day working week.

Why We’re Making This Change

Over the past few years, the world of work has evolved significantly. We’ve seen first-hand how flexibility, wellbeing, and focused productivity can lead to better outcomes for everyone. Moving to a four-day week is a natural next step in that journey.

Importantly, this decision has been shaped directly by our team. Following an internal survey, a clear majority of staff expressed a preference for a four-day working week. Listening to our people is central to how we operate, and this change reflects our commitment to acting on their feedback.

This decision is built on three key principles:

  • Wellbeing: A better work-life balance helps our team stay energised, motivated, and engaged
  • Productivity: Fewer, more focused working days encourage smarter ways of working
  • Quality of Service: A happy, supported team delivers better experiences for our learners and partners

What This Means in Practice

Our team will now work across four days instead of five, while maintaining the same high standards you expect from Talk Training.

  • Our core services will continue without disruption
  • Communication channels remain open and responsive
  • Training delivery and support will be carefully scheduled to ensure consistency

We’ve planned this transition carefully to ensure that our learners, employers, and stakeholders continue to receive the same level of support and service.

Our Commitment

This change reflects our commitment not only to innovation in training, but also to being a forward-thinking, people-first organisation.

By listening to our team and investing in their wellbeing, we’re strengthening our ability to deliver impactful learning experiences and long-term value to the communities we serve.

Looking Ahead

This is an exciting step for Talk Training, and we’re looking forward to seeing the positive impact it brings for our team, our learners, and our partners.

If you have any questions about how this change may affect you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
