Who is the qualification for?

The Project Management Diploma is suitable for employees who are already employed in a Project Management role but with no professional qualification. This is an integrated qualification which includes requirements for both technical knowledge and practical competence.

A Project Manager oversees project development from planning to completion, performing various tasks, including: defining project scope and timescales, budget management, managing resources, quality assurance, risk management, engaging stakeholders, managing project change and analysis of results.

A Project Coordinator/Project Executive/Project Support Officer supports project development and delivery, through such tasks as: quality assurance, fulfilling organisation and project aims, project coordination, assessing and controlling risks, accurate reporting, managing budgets and research and analysis.

Employees operating at Level 4 play an integral role in setting and supporting organisational objectives through a wide range of projects functions, such as: informing strategic decision making, managing budgets, planning and implementing change, leading teams and managing delivery of complimentary projects.
