In Safeguarding Adults Week the aim is to create a time where we can all focus on safeguarding adults. Each day will be focused on a different safeguarding adults at risk issue.
There are host of free resources for you to use and share throughout the week.
Everyone, from all walks of life, should be aware of the role they can play in helping to prevent abuse. We should all know how to spot the signs of abuse, and the actions we should take if we spot any signs.
That’s what Safeguarding Adults Week is all about. The idea is to start a nationwide conversation about Safeguarding – so we can all be better, together.
Safeguarding Adults Week 2019 was a huge success and reached nearly six million people on Twitter alone. This year, the idea is to reach even more.
