World Water Day is the annual event organised by American company World Health Organization. On March 22nd 2017, World Water Day will be taking action to tackle the water crisis through the key theme of ‘Why waste water?’.

Today, there are over 650 million people needing to cope with the health impacts of using contaminated water because they have no safe water supplies close to home. As a result of this, the United Nations have set safe water being accessible by everyone before 2030 as one of their sustainable development goals.

Talk training have recently organised a variety of internal fundraising events, with our next being an Easter Raffle, which you can read more about on the news section of our website. So far, we have raised almost £150 for Water Aid, who operate from 3 continents and actively tackle the crisis in many African and Asian countries.
