World Autism Awareness Week will be taking place between 27th March and the 2nd April 2017. Autism, which is described as “a lifelong developmental disability that affects how people perceive the world and interact with others”, affects around more than 1 in 100 people in the UK.

The National Autistic Society Cymru currently provide a variety of services to people with autism living in Wales, ranging from support with developing academic skills to helping them to gain skills through different community projects etc. There is more information on this here: http://www.autism.org.uk/services/wales.aspx
