When completing a pilgrimage in Jerusalem last September, a staff member from Talk training visited Jeel Al Amal Boys’ Home in Bethany. The boys’ home is an orphanage which shelters and provides a home for 300 boys left to fend for themselves. The staff endeavour to provide care, a family and education to the boys with limited resources as they rely on donations to run the home. During the visit, the Manager of the home highlighted that they are currently suffering from lack of water and are trying to build a well to help them store water. Carole Davies, from Talk training, completed a walk with a member of her local Church community to help raise money for the well and much needed water. Thank you to all of you who supported this cause.
