March 1st, Saint David’s Day, is the annual day for the Welsh patron saint

As a ‘proud-to-be-Welsh’ training provider, Talk training will have a number of activities taking place at our office, based in Nantgarw, to join in the celebrations for the Welsh patron saint. These activities will be office based only but staff as well as learners are welcome to join in!

The celebrations will be kick-started on Wednesday, 22nd February with our Name the Dragon competition, which will run right through to Saint David’s Day, when the winner will be announced and awarded with their cash prize.

We will also be inviting all staff to wear something Welsh-themed or red into the office on Saint David’s Day, providing they don’t have any other appointments to attend. Rugby shirts are welcome as well as the traditional Leek or Daffodil pin.

Staff will also be given the opportunity to provide a suggestion for a cultural venue for our Business Strategy Day that will take place later in the year.

There will also be a Welsh-themed Bake Off with participants bringing their entries into the office on the day, ready for them to be judged by our very own Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood aka the Talk training Directors. Alongside the bake off, we will be having a welsh-themed mini buffet to be enjoyed by all.

The day will finish with an interactive Welsh-themed quiz in Training Room 4 using the newly introduced tablets and personal devices.

Keep checking back here to see how our day went. Additionally, you may follow our Twitter account @TalkTrainingLtd which will be full of pics from all the goings-on.
