I recently completed the ILM level 3.  As s senior radiographer it was felt this qualification would be a building block to my development within my current role but also to prepare and support me in regards to future roles.

The course included multiple areas that can be used within my current role especially team work and leadership.  The modules reflected well areas within management that have already made me think twice about how I plan my working day and how I interact with colleagues.

I feel the course has been a fantastic building block to support my current role, but give me the confidence for progression within my role and hopefully into management in the future.

The course was well structured. With a variety of options to provide evidence of learning, not limited to written and oral questioning, presentations, witness statements and visual assessments. Accessing information through the website is simple and can be accessed at all times. Uploading supporting documents and work to the relevant topics and modules again is a simple process and took the stress out of deadlines.

During my course my assessor was supportive, knowledgeable and understanding.  Due to the current Covid 19 situation and radiographers being frontline workers, my assessor was flexible with meetings and understanding if meetings needed changing last minute due to my work commitments.

He was always available for support and guidance through both telephone and email and made the course far more enjoyable and manageable in his mentoring style. Giving a flexible approach to deadlines, allowed me to fit the course around my job and maintain a good balance.

Overall I would definitely recommend the course and if my work allowed, I would definitely look into progressing to the next level.
