Foundation Apprenticeship (Level 2) is designed for staff who work within the hospitality industry whether it be serving drinks, serving food, greeting customers or providing a housekeeping service.

The qualifications are suitable for occupations in a variety of hospitality premises, including: Hotels, Restaurants, Nightclubs, Club premise, Leased premises, Managed Houses or Tenanted premises

Foundation Apprenticeship (Level 2)

Who is the qualification for?

These qualifications are ideal for those aspiring to and currently working in the Hospitality and Catering industry. They are relevant to job roles including waiter/waitress, bar person, etc. It provides the skills required to succeed in the workplace and to develop the ability to learn and progress whilst building a successful career. Employees operating at level 2 play an integral role in supporting organisational objectives through a wide range of functions, such as: delivering customer service, dealing with different types of customers, legislation etc.

These qualifications are ideal for those aspiring to and currently working in the Hospitality and Catering industry. They are suitable to job roles including receptionists. It provides the skills required to succeed in the workplace and develop the ability to learn and progress whilst building a successful career. Employees operating at level 2 play an integral role in supporting organisational objectives through a wide range of functions, such as: greeting guests on arrival, making a good first impression, dealing with reservations, use office equipment and systems, prepare guest bills, and ensure that information goes to the housekeeping, restaurant, maintenance, and management departments.
