Staff from Talk Training and their families walked up Pen y Fan on Saturday 6thJuly 2019 to raise money for 4Louis, a Miscarriage, Stillborn and Child Loss charity.

A total of 28 people (and 2 dogs) met at the Pont ar Daf car park for 8am, which we thought would be  plenty early enough to avoid the crowds – how wrong we were as there were already cars parked along the main road! In fact, there were even walkers coming back down again when we started!!

It was a lovely, clear and bright morning for most of the climb and our fund raisers made it to 886m trig point in just under 1 hour, where it was windy and quite cloudy. A big shout out to Kay Jones, our 1 woman support crew, who provided bacon and sausage rolls before we started and warm drinks with snacks when we came back down again.

Almost £300 was raised on the day, bringing our current total to almost £500 which will be donated to 4Louis to provide support and equipment, including Memory Boxes and Cuddle Cots, to grieving families who sadly suffer a miscarriage, stillbirth or child death.

Thank you to all those who took part on the day and those who have donated throughout the last few months to raise this money for 4Louis.
