Talk Training Marks Three Decades of Empowering Wales’ Workforce
Talk Training is proud to announce its 30th anniversary on July 21, 2025. This significant milestone celebrates three decades of dedicated service to Welsh organisations and individuals, further highlighted by the company’s transition to an Employee Owned Trust (EOT) in 2023, solidifying its commitment to its employees, many of whom have been with the company for over 20 years.
Since its inception in 1995, Talk Training has grown to become a recognised leader in the delivery of apprenticeships in Wales. Over these three decades, the company has played a pivotal role in shaping a skilled, adaptable, and resilient workforce, directly contributing to the nation’s economic prosperity. Working with over 130 Welsh organisations, helping them bridge critical skills gaps and nurture in-house talent. To date, Talk Training has successfully delivered over 25,000 apprenticeships, transforming individual careers and enhancing organisational capabilities across a multitude of sectors.
Adding another layer of celebrations to its 30th anniversary, Talk Training’s move to an Employee Owned Trust in 2023 reflects a deep-rooted belief in shared success and collective ownership. This strategic shift means the company is now collectively owned by its employees. The EOT model reinforces Talk Training’s core values, ensuring long-term sustainability and a culture where every team member is directly invested in the quality of learning and support provided to apprentices and employers.
“Reaching our 30th anniversary is an immense source of pride for everyone at Talk Training,” says Tanya Parmee, Sales Director. “We’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of apprenticeships on individuals and the organisations we work with. Our journey as an Employee Owned Trust means every single one of us is invested in delivering the highest quality training and support. We’re excited to continue building on this legacy, adapting to new challenges like AI, and empowering many more learners and businesses across Wales for the next 30 years.”
Looking forward, Talk Training is firmly focused on delivering the best apprenticeship experience for its learners and the organisations it works with, ensuring its programmes equip individuals and businesses with the vital skills needed to excel in the global economy.
