TALK training announced as one of Wales' "HOT 100"

We at TALK training are proud to announce that we have been selected as one of the HOT 100 trail-blazing businesses in Wales for 2008.
The Hot 100 aims to identify some of the most exciting young ventures in Wales and celebrate the best of entrepreneurship by identifying the fastest- growing start-ups. It has been running since 2006 and this years annual list 100 was published in the Western Mail on 30th July 2008.
TALK training announced this month that on the 1st May, an innovative Human Resources support company, TalkHR Solutions Ltd, became part of the group. With this exciting new development, the company is now able to offer even more expert services to employers, in areas ranging from recruitment, to staff and management training services, to all HRM solutions, through to business restructuring.
Every one of TALK training's learners are provided with first rate mentoring and support to enable them to progress. Since March 2008 we have had great success with Basic Skills and there have been 32 Literacy and 32 Numeracy qualifications achieved. The ethos of Talk Training staff is to ensure that the work completed by learners on our courses prepares them as fully as possible for life, whilst meeting the examination criteria dictated by the awarding bodies.
Two of TALK training’s senior members of staff, Chris Hillard and Graham Tamlyn, recently attended the prestigious City & Guilds Annual Senior Awards Graduation ceremony held in the historic Merchant Taylors Hall, London to celebrate their achievement of the City & Guilds Senior Award in recognition of personal achievement and the application of professional knowledge in the workplace. Graduates were selected from all over the world, from areas such as the United Kingdom, Dubai. South Africa, New Zealand and Barbados.
Deputy Minister for Skills meets our young learners

The Welsh Assembly Government’s Deputy Minister for Skills, John Griffiths, visited TALK training’s skillbuild centre in Cwmbran on Thursday 15th May and met some of the young trainees there and went on to the company’s head office in Nantgarw.
