ESDGC links the environment and the people who live in, and from it. It looks at the world and the ways that all living things relate to each other.
The government’s recent response to Lord Leitch’s review, ‘World Class Skills’ notes that: ‘For employers, a more highly-skilled workforce is a route to achieving higher productivity and, in the private sector, greater competitiveness and profitability’.
At the same time, to support this need the government has been working to identify and address the specific ESOL needs of those at work.
